The Gaffney plant (in the US state of South Carolina) opened in 2004 and was the first plant that Boysen built for the American market. The first customer was the BMW plant in Spartanburg, just 50 kilometres away.
To meet increasing customer demand, Boysen USA opened a satellite plant in Spartanburg in 2022. With the new plant, Boysen USA has 5,000 square metres of additional production space available.
